It’s the weekend we’ve all been waiting for – July 25^th, 26^th, and 27^th – The Celina Lake Festival!  Festivities centered around Grand Lake St. Mary’s, the Lake Festival is a huge attraction packed with events including a Boat Poker Run, Cardboard Boat Building Competition, International Amphicar Convention, Classic Car Show, and much more!

Kicking off the events, Friday shop till you drop!  Downtown streets are flooded with crafters, and local businesses contribute with sidewalk sales.  In the mix, there are many fabulous festival food choices.  At 8:00pm, the Amphicars (unique cars made to travel both on land or water and the largest exhibit in the world) will do a “swim-in” along Lake Shore.  At 10:00pm “Shoot for the Stars”!  The fireworks on the lake draw thousands of spectators.

But wait there’s more!  Saturday, gather with many who participate in the boat poker run (sign-up is done at our local Celina Eagles).  Around the courthouse square, check out the collector car celebration or register your one-of-a-kind auto from 9:00am – 11:30am.  All makes and models are welcome with judging and prizes awarded.  Get Wet!  At 1:00pm registration begins for the Cardboard Duct Tape Boat Race.  At 6:00pm, people line the streets for the largest parade in west central Ohio.  Not only is there over 150 units participating, this grand parade last over 2 hours and includes area high school bands, decorated floats, calliope, clowns, and lots of sweet treats for the kiddies!  Other festival events include:  Children’s games and rides, a 5k run, Goldwing Cruise-in, Antique Tractor Show, Jet Ski Races, Tent Entertainment, and more!

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday – Garden Tractor Pull, Kiddie Tractor Pull, Kids Fishing Derby, and Chicken Dinners!
